A Multi-Source Energy System for Highways Generating Electricity, Water, and Cooling
This project creates smart roadside units that generate clean energy using natural wind and wind force from moving vehicles, sunlight, and rainwater. Each unit is placed along highways and connected to a central power and water hub. This system helps generate electricity, reduces carbon from air, support EV charging, cool nearby areas, and support plants during summer.
A solar dish follows the sun to produce electricity throughout the day.
Air force created by fast-moving vehicles is captured and converted into electricity.
Rainwater is collected and stored in a central tank by multiple units for later use.
Multiple units connect to one central hub. This hub stores:
The stored electricity can later be used for:
Special road bumpers modules generate power when vehicles pass over them. This adds extra electricity to the system without slowing traffic significantly.
Produces renewable electricity without fuel.
Collects rainwater for irrigation and cooling.
Filters harmful gases from roadside air.
Water diffusers can cool nearby areas in summer.
With large highway deployments, this system can generate significant long-term returns. It also helps governments meet:
Units can be installed along thousands of kilometers of highways.
Supports green infrastructure and climate targets.
Supports EV charging and smart highway projects.
